Post COVID-19 pandemic workspace and hybrid roles.

Following the COVID-19 outbreak, businesses all around the world underwent a seismic change, and they are now better off as a result. Since employees and executives have shown that working remotely can be effective and productive, even for lengthy periods of time, the traditional office paradigm of all-butts-in-seats from 9 to 5 is no longer the norm for many.

Despite this, it is generally understood that there is a spark of collaboration and creativity that only manifests when people join together to solve problems or come up with novel business ideas. Businesses are utilizing hybrid work solutions in light of this.

    Smart flexibility

Bureau 58 provides spaces for employees to come together in person and collaborate, meet with clients, and build human connection—in short, to do all the things you can’t (or don’t want to) do over Zoom. Companies can spread out over a full floor or even an entire building, with the option to flex as the company expands.

The many possibilities of a simple office

with many employees splitting their time between their home office, the corporate office, and the digital workplace. Remote work has been deemed beneficial for the majority of employees. Still, employees have also reported that they appreciate having physical spaces to brainstorm, collaborate, and socialize with coworkers.

    Increased connection and intention

The pandemic has made the business world really intentional about space, Olver says. “It used to be the default that you have an office and everyone gets a desk, and voilà—we have community! Now we have to think a lot more deeply about [how we use our office spaces],” she says.
